Explore Gamble Cottage

Gamble Cottage is open to visitors who have an interest in the history of Coromandel Valley and neighbouring areas that were once part of this locality. There are lots of historic artefacts, furniture and photographs on display, and National Trust volunteers are on hand to shed light on the history of the cottage and share research into the district's pioneer families, land division and oldest buildings. Afternoon tea with homemade scones with jam and cream is available, and jars of Coromandel Valley marmalade and local Hills Supply Honey are for sale. The cottage garden is exquisite, featuring many old and now uncommon plant species, with plenty of space for children to run around.
